It all began in the year 1922, when several godly, Hainanese-speaking Christians began worshipping God at the upper floor of a rented shop house at Purvis Street. Their aim was simply proclaim the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to fellow Hainanese. This small congregation would later grow into the present Holy Grace Presbyterian Church.

The church’s footsteps through the decades bear testimonies of the rich blessings and love of God. In response, the church will continue to lead a vibrant and Christ-like church life anchored in the teaching of the Word, the evangelism of the lost and the service of the people.
